Imagine the Avengers, but it's Universal classic monsters instead of Marvel super heroes. And the only force brave enough to take them on and save the world is a club of monster movie enthusiasts that meet in a treehouse, and casually throw around homophobic slurs. That more or less sums up this super fun adventure movie written by Fred Dekker and Shane Black before anyone knew who Shane Black was.
